Please take notice that on September 19, 2026, the Board of Directors of the STINSON BEACH COUNTY WATER DISTRICT (District) will hold a public hearing to adopt Ordinance 2026-02 to amend the District’s Title IV – Onsite Wastewater Management Code (Code).
The Code establishes the terms and conditions under which all onsite wastewater treatment systems (OWTS’s) within the District’s jurisdictional boundary will be designed, constructed, owner-operated, and regulated. The ordinance revises the Code to:
- Clarify the Findings of Fact for Variance requests, and
- Clarify the Code requirements regarding New Construction; and
- Clarify the Code requirements for replacement of an existing OWTS; and
- Update Discharge Permit conditions; and
- Clarify technical details and definitions; and
- Update and correct various Code and fee references.
A copy of the proposed ordinance is available for inspection or copying in the office of the District Secretary at 3785 Shoreline Highway, Stinson Beach, California, Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.
