Stinson Water is proud to announce we are launching our new website on November 1st, after which you will be able to access the new website at:  stinsonwater.org.

The new website hosts a variety of new information and capabilities, including the ability to sign up for paperless billing and online bill pay.  On this new site, you will also be able to access your Eye-on-Water account (or create an account, if you don’t already have one) to monitor your water consumption in real time and check for potential leaks.

The new website will work on both desktop and mobile devices, and was designed to be more visually pleasing, easier to navigate, provide access to all useful information in one portal, and ensure ADA compliance.  All photography and drone footage was provided by local photographer Colette Perri.

Please take a look and let us know what you think!

District's new billing system

We are excited to announce that online bill pay is being launched with our new website!  To sign up, go to the District’s new website and click on the “Pay Your Bill” button.  That will link you to our new billing system and will prompt you to create an account.  From there, you can opt-in to paperless billing as well.  Attached are instructions for doing so.

You may notice that your October bill has been generated using this new billing system, and all accounts are currently set up to continue receiving a paper bill, which look like the example to the right.   If you have an email associated with your account, you will also receive an e-bill.  If you choose to create an online account and not opt-in to paperless billing, you will continue to receive a paper bill.  In any case, you will still have the option to pay online by credit card or ACH, by check via the USPS, or by either cash or check here at the office.  We can only process cash and checks at the office right now, but will soon have the capability to process credit cards.  Please stay tuned for that added capability.

Please note that if you want to mail in a check (we do not accept cash payments via USPS), your payment will now go to a PO dropbox at the Los Angeles address on the top left and lower right of your bill – please do not mail or bring payment to the District office, as doing so will delay processing and may result in late fees.

If you have difficulty setting up an online account, please contact Munibilling customer support at stinsonwater@munibilling.com, or (877) 621-8781.  As always, please contact the District if you have any questions about this new system.

New cell tower proposal

The District has been approached by AT&T with a proposal to build a new cell tower at our Highlands Tank site (end of Avenida Farralone, up the hill) to increase cell coverage in town.  The two images from AT&T above show current cell phone coverage (left) and proposed coverage with a new tower (right).  The District’s Board of Directors has been evaluating the proposed tower design, how it may or may not impact residents and the surrounding enviornment, and how it may impact District operations – especially its water meters.

The Board has not made a decision on whether to allow this new tower and wants to start soliciting public input on this proposal before making a decision.  We are tentatively scheduled to hold a public hearing on this topic concurrent with the Board’s regular meeting on January 20, 2024, at the Community Center.  Stay tuned – as soon as we are confirmed, we will send out notices.
